Beautiful farm, established in 1800, offers an outstanding horse boarding facility with
riding lessons available on-site. The farm is fully licensed and inspected by the Maryland
Horse Industry Board for both boarding and instruction. Large box stalls with individual lighting
are available in the bank barn. Additional stalls in the original carriage house and a standalone
barn are also available to house horses. Two large pastures have multiple run-in sheds, and
allow for separation of mares and geldings. In addition, an alternate pasture and two smaller
paddocks are available for private turnout or dry lot options. Miniatures and brood mares can
be accommodated. Absolutely no barbed wire or high tensile fencing is used on the property.
Timothy hay and orchard grass are grown on the farm, and a mowed riding trail is available on
the perimeter of this acreage. The tack room is bright, clean, and dry, with a small microwave
and refrigerator for customer use. The farm also has an outdoor riding arena and separate
training pen.
The farm is known and respected by trainers, English and Western riding instructors, local vets,
farriers, equine dentists and a massage therapist.
The farm is conveniently located between Maugansville and Cearfoss, near Hagerstown,
Maryland, 1.5 miles from I-81 and 5 miles from I-70. Short term boarding is available with
appropriate documentation in segregated pastures or the barn.
